Prettiness

So in preparation for spring/summer I realized that I needed new nail polish. All the stuff I had was too old so I found the perfect reason to do more shopping!

I actually got a pretty good deal on a brand that is used in nail salons alot. At Sally Beauty they have the Beauty Club card. Its 5.00 for the year but then you get a 5.00 GC so its basically free and you get a discounted price on all their products throughout the year. Its pretty awesome cause it combines with the sales and stuff. Here's a link-Sally Beauty Club Card

I bought China Glaze because I've heard its really durable but its also affordable. This month they are buy 2 get one free at Sally plus the card. They have a huge variety of colors too. These are the one I picked. I guess you can tell what colors I like.... :) I used the fushia color last night-ADORABLE!

So in planning for my trip to Paris, I decided I wanted to make a passport cover instead of having to buy one. This one only cost me 99 cents cause the fat quarter I used was on sale at Joanns! It was really easy to do, and would be a great project for a beginning sewer. I love the fabric also, I fell in love with it when I was working on another project.


I finally booked my flight so that is another thing off the list. With the funding I'm receiving from the department, my flight is only costing my $180 which is amazing.

I ordered Lets Go Paris off of Amazon and I've been studying it since I got it. I love the Lets Go series because its very budget oriented but still includes information in case you want to have a fancy/expensive dinner or night out. I used it when I went to NYC for the first time and it was so helpful, I was really glad I bought it. I definitley recommend it for anyone traveling to a big city or foreign country.
