Awards season is upon us! As always we start with the Emmy's and this year red really seemed to steal the show. It seemed like everyone was in red this year, and there were so many gorgeous looks to choose from.
Lea Michele stole the show in her red Marchesa gown. I always love her red carpet looks because she is always so 'pretty', this dress was so mature and sexy though it was very different from her usual style. The detailed shoulders were elegant and the draped back was so Hollywood-sexy. I love it, I mean she can really make any gown look stunning.
Glee gal Jayma Mays was my favorite princess moment of the night in Zuhair Murad. That pale pink looked gorgeous with her hair and bright lips, I loved it. All the elements of the dress worked together perfectly and didn't compete with one another. The lace and tiers of tulle were beautiful and fantastically girly.
My other favorite dramatic red gown was Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan. It's so unexpected for Donna Karan and its gorgeous. I loved the sexy neckline detail and the dramatic, exaggerated ruffles were fabulous. Her jewelry was picked out perfectly really complemented her ensemble.
My final fav is another red gown and also another Elie Saab gown. Kate Winslet was gorgeous in this simple number. She let the color and design of the dress make the statement, and it made her look even more gorgeous.
