Glee-wind: Heart

Glee gave fans the perfect fun and sweet Valentine's episode on Tuesday. Not only did we get cute storylines we also got really fantasic music. In my opinion this episode had some of the best music of the whole season I think.

This whole episode was really filled with just adorable Finchel moments and in comparison to last year's Valentine's day it was so much better. I've been hoping to see Finn show Rachel how to drum and we totally got an adorable clip of that Tuesday. They're both giggling and smiling and it was just incredibly adorable. Then we went straight into meeting Rachel's dad's and they were exactly everything I hoped they were. They were over-the-top and you could totally see how Rachel became the girl she is now. How adorable was the little Finchel glance during Let me love you?!

Speaking of-how seriously awesome was Let me love you. I loved that song when it came out years ago and almost lost it when I heard Glee was doing it. Kevin just nailed it, he was so smooth, I was so melting inside. In comparison though I though Rory's Home was heartbreakingly good.

I loved seeing everyone singing to Rachel and just how happy it made her. It was a wonderful evolution from the Rachel that had no one in the beginning. When Schue came in and told Finn and Rachel to stop making out I about died. They are just kissing everywhere lately, and it's awesome. The really big scene of the episode was the Hudson Hummelberry family dinner and I just loved it. The Berry dad's were hilarious and they just seemed like the families came together so well. Hearing Hiram say how much he loved Finn was just fantastic.

The Finchel scenes in Rachel's bedroom were just so good. First I loved how excited Finn and Rachel were, Finn especially. Seeing them start to adapt to the other's everyday routine was hilarious. As someone who's been through the same situation it was just so spot on with how kind of awkward and new the whole scenario is. When they were talking about Finn using the bathroom I about died. It was just so hilarious and the perfect picture of how weird learning to live with another person is.

I know things got tense when Rachel talked about Finn's schedule but I think it was more about the pressure Finn is starting to put on himself about his future. He knows he doesn't have anything figured out and when Rachel said that it just kind of stung, although she wasn't being mean about it. I really saw this argument as their first "adult" argument and while they were kind of upset with one another I really just thought the whole thing was kind of cute. It was one of those little lover's spat's that all new adult relationships go through, it wasn't meant to be serious.

I've spent most of my post talking about Finchel but another thing that really got me in the episode was Karofsky coming to Kurt. I totally wasn't expecting it to be him in the gorilla suit and it kinda shocked me when he revealed himself. I'm actually really interested to see where all of this is going to play into the Kurt and Blaine relationship.

Seeing Finn and Rachel made up in bed was adorable. They were snuggling and it was just such a wonderful glimpse into their future. I also really loved seeing them putting their faith in one another. It's so wonderful when you know your gonna work because of how much faith you have in your partner, I just though it was so romantic. Finn was so cute when he was excited about going to Breadstix, then they were just so excited about setting a date-adorable.

Finally-Blaine's back! His dedication to all the lovers was a great callback to last year's dedication to all the singles. So sweet. Loveshack was all sorts of fun and Finn popping up and drumming in the ice was crazy cute.

Looking to next week- I honestly have no idea what to expect and I couldn't be more excited. The episode looks so crazy good, that I know the hiatus is gonna kill me. I know I say it every week but Tuesday needs to come faster!

xoxo,
Amanda
