I'm not a huge Marilyn Monroe fan, but after hearing such amazing things about My Week with Marilyn I decided to check it out last week when it came out on DVD.
This movie was fantastic. I loved the storyline, it was interesting and authentic and I really was enthralled the entire time. Even though everyone has already said it, Michelle Williams was perfection. She really embodied seamlessly everything you've heard and imagined Marilyn to be. She was lively and bright but plagued with this sadness that everyone knew Marilyn couldn't get over. Her performance was truly brilliant.
So this weekend if your looking for a movie to check out, I definitely recommend this.
